Chapter 01
Overview
Founded in 2015, Sabra Stables is a family-owned, beautiful and functional state-of-the-art equestrian facility in Irbid, Jordan. We are a western training, boarding, breeding and sales facility, and we pride ourselves on customised care and training for you and your horse.
A client-access-only front gate keeps out unwanted visitors and ensures the safety of every horse on the property.
Chapter 03
Stalls & Design
The stable has a unique U-shaped design built to hold 36 horses in total. The north wing includes 14 stalls, fully indoor wash stalls with hot and cold water, a feed room, and a tack shop.
Each stall floor is lined with wood shavings for comfort and cleanliness, and every stall has an automatic waterer that is cleaned daily.
Chapter 04
Arenas
The facility has two round pens and four outdoor riding arenas, each made for all-weather riding and groomed and watered daily.
- A 25 × 50 metre outdoor arena with 5-inch footing, sound system, seating and lights. Barrels, pole bending, jumps and cavaletti are available in this arena.
- Two 30 × 30 metre open arenas lined with bright lights for night riding. Cow work and team roping are available in these two arenas.
- One 20 × 30 metre outdoor arena.
Chapter 05
Trail Access
Hundreds of acres of scenic trails are available around the ranch, with rides out to the Irbid area, Ajloun Heights, the Zarqa River and beyond.
Chapter 06
Amenities
The stable is complete with a courtyard overlooking the arenas and pastures. Built for parties or for relaxing, the courtyard has scenic landscaping, plenty of seating, and a fountain for the summer that doubles as a fireplace in the winter.
Lonestar Boots & Tack, our on-site western shop, carries boots, hats, western wear and tack from American brands.
